About the role

The Senior Analyst SurePrep Commercial Policy and System Operations Support is responsible for ensuring Pan TR commercial policies and models related to the Enterprise Commercial Systems project that are needed to support the migration of SurePrep are fully developed. This role will review and solicit feedback from stakeholders across TR geographic and functional areas for input on the policies and models to ensure they meet the needs of the business with a focus on simplification and standardization within existing framework. Key stakeholders include segments, Customer to Cash, Tax, Revenue Recognition, and Legal Counsel across all geographic regions.

SurePrep commercial models and policies will be reviewed to determine alignment with TR models and policies. Where there is misalignment, this role will work with the SurePrep business to modify their commercials where it is divergent from TR enterprise standards or consider expanding TR Standards if there is applicability to other TR product lines. Where there is similarity, but slight differences, among different product lines between SurePrep and TR, this individual will lead development of an enterprise policy and model. This may require partnering with system architects and developers to define system requirements and execute the policies and models within the Commercial Systems project.


About the Role
In this opportunity as Senior Analyst SurePrep Commercial Policy and System Operations Support, you will:

  • Define and execute commercial policies and system framework for SurePrep, reviewing alignment to current TR Tech Stack with gaps and synergies documented
  • Assist with commercial policy comparison, focusing on current tech stack capabilities and Enterprise Commercial Systems framework
  • Drive simplification and standardization mindset in alignment with operating company
  • Work with team to determine if any technology development will be required to support proposed commercial policies and system framework
  • Lead conversations in regards to existing SurePrep customers
  • Commercial policy and/or system impacts including timelines to migrate if required
  • Document action items and hold team accountable to deliverables and timelines


About You
You're a fit for the role of Senior Analyst SurePrep Commercial Policy and System Operations Support if your background includes:

  • BA/BS degree required; advanced degree highly desirable
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of commercial constructs and system concepts
  • Strong project management skills related to planning and overseeing multiple projects from the initial ideation through to completion, adhering to timelines
  • Ability to participate on results-oriented virtual teams – requiring strong interpersonal skills and team player mindset, partnering with others to develop solutions
  • Ability to deploy influencing techniques to drive cross-functional alignment and change across broad audience
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience collecting, organizing, analyzing, documenting, and disseminating abundant information with accuracy
  • Experience generating process documentation and reports
  • Strong communication and exceptional stakeholder management capabilities
  • Ability to work independently in an environment of change, with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in use of SAP, MS Office Suite and Business Objects familiarity is beneficial
  • Knowledge of the TR products and customer landscape a plus
