This is a remote, work from home position. Some travel may be required on occasion. Remote work is currently only approved for residents living in the following states: AL, AK, AR, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, LA, KS, KY, ME, MI, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV, WY.
Sources, recruits, assesses, interviews, and advises in the selection of middle management to executive level leadership talent to further Advocate Health’s leadership capabilities. Owns a book of business and all aspects of success for their assignment. Consults with hiring leadership to identify and recommend hiring solutions for complex recruitment needs, and evaluates recruitment plans accordingly. Researches and analyzes market complexities, and proactively develops complex recruitment strategies based upon market trends, analysis and staffing needs. Provides coaching, leadership and support of the Annual Talent Review process and succession planning to ensure a pipeline of leaders and succession plans to meet organizational strategies. Serves as an Ambassador of D&I imperatives.
Major Responsibilities:
- Sources, recruits, and advises in the selection of middle management to executive level talent to enhance the overall effectiveness of the organization. Implements complex, proactive recruitment strategies and reacts to employment market trends to attract qualified, diverse talent. Serves as point of contact for candidate relocation questions.
- Consults with hiring leadership (typically Director through President level) to anticipate, develop, and provide solutions for short and long-term hiring needs and business goals which will include the following: identifying hiring needs, utilize talent review outputs to appropriately recommend and distribute talent across the system, prescreening candidates, recommending candidates, developing pipelines of talent, developing and extending complex offers, and compensation programs for executives accessing success of previous hiring, and identifying recruitment trends.
- Supports leadership succession planning, talent management strategies, and the performance management system to facilitate organizational and individual performance, foster recognition and growth opportunities for high performing leaders and provide infrastructure for development for all team members.
- Leads the planning, implementation, and evaluation of related projects which include creating project plans, organizing project teams, managing tasks/monitoring timelines, developing communications, performing analysis, managing issues, and evaluating outcomes.
- Develops and maintains exceptional working relationships with Human Resources Business Partners, hiring managers, sourcing specialists, and applicants to ensure superior customer satisfaction. Collaborates with human resource teams to coordinate an effective orientation process for leaders. Maintains contacts with hiring leadership and monitors potential turnover and potential issues within the first year of hire.
- Researches and analyzes national and regional marketplace trends to determine hiring complexities, business needs, market challenges, and implements effective solutions. Assesses recruitment/sourcing success and key staffing indicators by tracking related trends/statistics, retention rates, turnover, cost/hire, and time to fill statistics. Identifies key gaps, develops proactive short and long term recruitment plans, addresses recruitment needs, and presents effective solutions.
- Coordinates sourcing with external executive search firms and leverages professional organizations to generate a diverse slate of candidates.
- Assists in monitoring the effectiveness of the leadership recruitment program’s contribution to Advocate Aurora’s affirmative action plan, commitment to diversity, and service standards.
- Develops effective marketing tools in conjunction with the marketing communications teams to promote leadership opportunities.
