Overview

At Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits, we're at the forefront of innovation and transformation within the beverage industry. Our Enterprise Technology Partners (ETP) are driving this evolution, and as the Senior Director Supply Chain Strategy & Insights, you'll be in the center of it all. Our 10-year Supply Chain roadmap is ambitious, aiming to accelerate growth and profitability through world-class capabilities. Collaborating closely with executive leaders, business partners and ETP peers, you'll be the strategy partner with our Supply Chain team to bring various innovation and solutions to the forefront across our operations.  As we embark on our transformation journey to implement emerging supply chain solutions, we are looking for a dynamic leader and strategic thinker who can shape the art of the possible through exploring key industry insights and activating value through key transformative solutions.

 

Reporting to the SVP Corporate & Supply Chain Systems, this leader will work closely with numerous Supply Chain leaders and ETP team members to collaborate and align on key opportunities for activating capabilities.  The Senior Director is a Senior leader with a proven track record of leading teams to improve relationships, deliver, and support technology solutions. The job requires a transformational mindset with the ability to turn complex ideas and requirements into functional and technical solutions focused on an exceptional experience for stakeholders that add business value. This role also requires a keen understanding of insights, data strategy and industry trends along with a broad business acumen and a strategic solutioning mindset. The Senior Director is a strong technology partner focused on delivering transformational business change in a fast-paced business environment that expects high quality delivery and continuous improvement. 

 

The role is both a proven Business Leader and a proven IT leader who possesses the ability to fully leverage new and existing technology platforms with a focus on meeting internal customers, external customers business objectives.  This role will also be responsible for leading new idea concept initiatives to quickly learn by exploring new ways of accelerating solutions and capabilities with an iterative and agile approach.

Primary Responsibilities

• Communicates with upper-management and internal clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions 
• Proactively works with IT Architecture team to design a robust, flexible set of services and capabilities that are efficient and cost effective for our Supply Chain roadmap
• Proactively advises on technology options and innovation for the business  
• Serves as a partner in providing leadership for technology solutions and implementations, ensuring that a 
• “fit for purpose” solution is designed
• Knows business process to allow IT to create new applications and make enhancements to existing applications required by the funds and third-party business at a high velocity 
• Drives value creation through data driven decision-making and insights management
• Manages rolling three-year technology roadmaps and vision/strategy for Supply Chain
• Maintains and develops strong understanding of functional partner needs and strategic priorities 
• Mentors, develops, motivates, and coaches teams to work collaboratively and effectively 
• Works cross functionally across ETP and outside of ETP with key business stakeholders in and outside of
