Clinical Support Specialist

<p><strong><u>POSITION SUMMARY:</u></strong><u>&nbsp; </u></p> <p>The Clinical Support Specialist (“CSS”) role is designed to provide both onsite/in-person clinical facilitation and remote administrative duties. In person, a CSS works with a clinician to facilitate care visits for patients. Remotely, a CSS works on administrative duties that include, but are not limited to, chart preparation and Behavioral Health Integration.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>*Please note<strong> -</strong> This role requires flexibility and may require up to 5 days per week onsite or a mix of remote and onsite, varying week to week, depending on team and business priorities.*&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</u></strong></p> <p><strong><em>Onsite Clinical Facilitation</em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Assisting patients by offering education related to their behavioral health visits, whether the treating clinician is conducting the visit in person or via telehealth</li> <li>Providing technical support and assistance for telehealth visits to include room and equipment preparation</li> <li>Supporting clinicians by accessing vitals and other relevant data from the facility’s EMR</li> <li>Procurement of patient referral documents as needed</li> <li>Acting as a liaison between the clinicians and the facility staff</li> <li>Interacting with staff and/or family members as necessary</li> <li>Maintaining responsibility for proper handling and cleaning of MTC Care equipment</li> </ul> <p><strong><em>Behavioral Health Integration (“BHI”)</em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Completing assigned number of BHI cases within the required timeline by gathering necessary information from patient medical records and entering it into the company’s BHI system/software.</li> </ul> <p><strong><em>Clinician Support</em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Providing assistance to assigned clinicians by accessing the facility’s EMR and recording relevant data into our EHR system in preparation for the clinical visit</li> <li>Working closely with the clinician to assure that patient visits run smoothly and efficiently</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:</u></strong></p> <p>All Clinical Support Specialists are expected to perform all of the core functions as described above as assigned.
