About the role
MyEyeDr is looking for an experienced Acquia CMS developer to help enhance and support various Marketing and Digital applications using Acquia CMS tools. This role will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of web applications and websites on the Acquia platform. This role requires a deep understanding of Acquia’s cloud hosting services, as well as proficiency in Drupal development. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure web solutions.  Reporting to the Sr. Manager, eCommerce & Digital Engineering, this is a hybrid role with a flexible work arrangement out of our Vienna, VA or Raleigh, NC offices.  You Will
  • Develop efficient technical solutions in a diverse application environment consisting of corporate and custom-made software systems.
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies, presenting these for architectural review.
  • Gather requirements related to the technical solution as well as integration of third-party applications and systems.
  • Investigate and determine best practices for selection of integration method, business rules, and policies.
  • Design processes, protocols, standards, and execution plan around integration needs.
  • Work with external resources and manage vendor relationships related to system connection and necessary development work.
  • Participate in design sessions with business process owners to provide technical direction on design considerations for development, performance, scalability, availability, maintainability, and reusability. 
  • Communicate effectively with process owners and management, internal and external teams.
  • Comply with design and coding standards, policies, and procedures for every development effort. 
  • Provide support to resolve technical and integration issues. 
 About You 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, skills and experience.
  • 5 years hands-on experience using Acquia CMS frontend and backend tools
  • 5 years hands on experience in CSS, Themes, HTML and JavaScript
  • 3 years of full stack development experience in Drupal
  • 3 years hands on expertise on Acquia Site Studio with Component development
  • Proven high volume, multi-site, multi-lingual website experience is required
  • Experience of GIT, Heroku, CICD, Jira, Confluence
  • Strong hands-on working experience of Restful APIs, JSON
  • Hands on experience with SQL and Cosmos DB
  • Working knowledge of eCommerce applications.
  • Machine Learning and widget development is plus
