Maintenance Supervisor

Summary of Position

Accountable to lead and supervise all maintenance activities to ensure 24-hour coverage and daily continuous business operations consistent with customer requirements and daily/annual Maintenance Work Plan. Ensure that all maintenance employees follow safe work practices and procedures. Deliver results consistent with plant operating goals. Accountable for maintenance activities which ensure worker safety, compliance with environmental regulations and integrate with Company quality systems.

Accountable for the performance, condition and/or reliability of all Company equipment, utilities, mechanical systems, power distribution systems, buildings and grounds. Review and monitor daily maintenance activity reports and related data. Structure/schedule maintenance activities accordingly.

Requirements

Position Requirements

• AS degree in Engineering or similar major and/or the equivalent in experience. 
• 5 - 8 years demonstrated “hands on” industrial maintenance experience
• 1 – 3 years minimum supervisory experience with an appropriate progression of increased responsibility. 
• The proven ability to work productively with individuals at all levels inside and outside the organization. 
• Demonstrated skills with PC office applications such as MS Word, Excel and Power Point.

Direct reports:  Maintenance Crew Leaders, Maintenance Mechanics, Electrical Specialists, Grounds Crew and External Contractors
