Your Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of enterprise reference architectures in collaboration with solution architects, ensuring alignment with business and technology objectives.
  • Assess current and future states within assigned technology domains and identify incremental transition states to guide architectural evolution.
  • Design and communicate conceptual and reference architectures, participating in technology governance processes and architecture review boards.
  • Serve as a technical advisor on project solution architecture, ensuring adherence to enterprise principles, guidelines, and compliance standards (e.g., PCI, SOX, GDPR).
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to implement solutions aligned to enterprise architecture standards, balancing delivery timelines with long-term architectural integrity.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices; partner with stakeholders to socialize and adopt architectural principles and artifacts.
  • Mentor junior architects and technical team members on architecture standards and practices.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to support intake and discovery processes for new initiatives and solution planning.
  • Facilitate effective communication between business and technical teams to enable successful outcomes.

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field; equivalent work experience considered.
  • Passion for emerging technologies and comfort level with testing out new capabilities
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in software development, information systems, or technical environments, including experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms, and API-based architectures.
  • Experience implementing architectures that meet business, systems, information, security, application, and technology requirements.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering techniques such as architecture modeling and tradeoff analysis.
  • Experience with business process modeling and reengineering.
  • Advanced knowledge of designing and implementing enterprise-class systems, including service APIs, messaging solutions, and system integration.
  • Understanding of non-functional requirements (scalability, availability, security).
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js) and familiarity with others.
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and relevant security/compliance standards (e.g., PCI, SOX, GDPR, OAuth, SAML).
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Your Team

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Director, Enterprise Architecture. You will have 2 peer teammates and collaborate with cross-functional technology and business teams on a regular basis.
