The Head of Field Marketing & Strategic Events plays a pivotal role in shaping our brand presence at industry conferences, AI events, partner roundtables, and executive engagements to grow revenue. You are responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing engaging and strategic programs that align with our company's objectives and enhance our visibility within targeted industries, regions, and the AI community.

The Head of Field Marketing & Strategic Events plays a pivotal role in shaping our brand presence at industry conferences, AI events, partner roundtables, and executive engagements to grow revenue. You are responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing engaging and strategic programs that align with our company's objectives and enhance our visibility within targeted industries, regions, and the AI community.
In this role, you will:
- Event Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive events marketing strategy aligned with our business goals, target audience, and industry trends. Identify key opportunities for participation in industry conferences, AI events, partner collaborations, and executive programming and engagements. Develop and maintain calendar of events.
- Event Planning and Execution:Design the end-to-end event planning and execution processes, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, logistics coordination, and pre-and post-event briefings. Ensure seamless execution and exceptional attendee experience at all events.
- Content and Messaging: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling event content, presentations, and messaging that effectively communicate our brand value proposition, product offerings, and thought leadership in the AI space.
- Audience Engagement and Relationship Building: Drive audience engagement initiatives to attract target attendees, including customers, partners, prospects, industry influencers, and executives. Foster relationships with key stakeholders and industry partners to enhance event participation and collaboration opportunities.
- Promotion and Marketing: Coordinate development of integrated marketing campaigns to promote upcoming events, generate buzz, drive attendee registrations, and engage attendees on-site. To maximize event visibility and reach, utilize various marketing channels, including email marketing, social media, digital advertising, and content marketing.
- Performance Measurement and Analysis: Define KPIs and metrics to measure the success and impact of event marketing initiatives. Conduct post-event analysis and reporting to evaluate performance, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.Analyze and report on the performance of field marketing activities, including ROI, lead generation, and campaign effectiveness, using data-driven insights to optimize future strategies.
- Sales Collaboration for Revenue Growth: Work closely with sales leadership and teams to ensure alignment and collaboration on marketing initiatives, providing the necessary tools and resources to drive revenue growth.
- Staying Ahead: Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Build a High-Performing Team: Build and manage a high-performing field marketing team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to achieve individual and team goals.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience: 10 years in field and event marketing, preferably in the technology or AI industry.
- Embody strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in event management tools and platforms.
- Data-driven using insights to inform strategy and evolution of programming.
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
- Embody an entrepreneurial spirit and a hands-on, figure-it-out attitude.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Team player with a collaborative attitude, able to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
