QA Specialist – Avantor Fluid Handling (Hillegom) (m/f/d)

The Opportunity:

As a QA Specialist at Avantor Fluid Handling, you serve as the key link between our QA department and the cleanroom production team at our Hillegom site. You’ll be part of a dynamic and expanding QA/QC team delivering innovative single-use assemblies to leading clients in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.

Your focus is on operational quality — supporting production while maintaining a critical perspective. You’ll work closely with Quality Inspectors, Quality Engineers, and report to the QA Supervisor.

Responsibilities: 

• Create batch records, labels, and certificates 

• Review and release final products 

• Conduct Gemba walks and internal audits 

• Manage non-conformities, deviations, change notifications, and CAPAs 

• Improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and production documentation 

• Promote quality awareness within production 

Your profile: 

• Vocational or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field 

• Proficient knowledge in English, additional knowledge in Dutch is a strong bonus 

• 1-2 years of experience in QA/QC or (bio-)pharmaceutical production 

• Familiarity with ISO 9001, GMP, and ERP systems 

• Cleanroom and GMP experience is a plus 

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail 

• Proactive, results-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement
