THE POSITION

As an Enterprise MDM Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, deployment, and management of mobile device management solutions across a large-scale enterprise environment. You will ensure secure and efficient management of mobile devices, applications, and data across various platforms (iOS, Android, Windows, etc.). In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize mobile operations, ensuring security policies, compliance standards, and performance are maintained.
THE GAME PLAN

- Lead the architecture and design of enterprise-wide MDM solutions to manage and secure mobile devices at scale
- Implement, configure, and maintain MDM platforms such as Microsoft Intune, JAMF and similar systems
- Develop and enforce policies for the management of mobile devices, including security configurations, access controls, and compliance protocols
- Ensure that mobile devices meet security standards, including encryption, password policies, remote wipe capabilities, and multi-factor authentication (MFA)
- Manage the lifecycle of mobile applications, including provisioning, updating, and securing corporate apps on managed devices
- Act as an escalation point for complex issues related to mobile devices, apps, or MDM platform performance
- Work closely with cybersecurity, networking, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration of MDM systems into broader IT environments
- Ensure compliance with data privacy laws (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) and corporate policies, providing audit reports and security insights
- Evaluate emerging MDM technologies and strategies to improve the efficiency, security, and scalability of the mobile environment
- Liaise with MDM solution vendors to manage software updates, feature rollouts, and resolve issues
- Develop & maintain configuration documentation. Consistently update Knowledge bases and conduct knowledge transfer reviews with lower-level engineering and support teams
THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years specializing in Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- Extensive experience with leading MDM platforms such as JAMF, Microsoft Intune
- Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing large-scale enterprise MDM solutions.
