With sustainability constantly evolving we take a dynamic approach to make a real impact across our value chain, focusing on responsible sourcing, minimizing our footprint and connecting people from all walks of life. </em></strong></p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><strong><em>The internship starts on September 4th 2023, and is for a period of 5-6 months.</em></strong><strong> </strong></p><p><strong><em>To start with, the position of Global Legal and Compliance Intern sits comfortably in the </em></strong><strong>central Legal Compliance and Corporate Affairs (LCCA) team </strong><strong>at the global JDE headquarters in Amsterdam</strong><strong><em>. An incredible diverse team that helps each other learn, grow and develop. Just how we like it! And as a Global Legal and Compliance Intern you will be asked to  </em></strong><strong>focus on diverse compliance topics such as privacy, antitrust and litigation reporting. There will also be the opportunity to work on global compliance e-trainings, compliance related communication materials as well as ad hoc compliance matters.</strong><strong><em> </em></strong><strong><em>For this, we don’t just need you to be a knowledgeable professional but also strongly rely on your interpersonal skills as well as your drive for success. Know that you’ll have a crucial role in creating and protecting the impact we look for in our value chain. With this said we like you to take responsibility over the following tasks:</em></strong></p><ul><li><strong><em>Assist with the roll-out of the litigation reporting module as part of the corporate entities database system;</em></strong></li><li><strong><em>Support the creation of privacy playbook for non-EU markets (including the content and visual updates to training materials and preparation of an internal communication plan);</em></strong></li><li><strong><em>Contribute to the improvement of the processes related to the GDPR aspects (such as maintenance of the Record of Processing Activities and data transfers);</em></strong></li><li><strong><em>Collect and collate antitrust related materials into a comprehensive antitrust guide with user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing layouts;</em></strong></li><li><strong><em>Support the launch of global compliance e-learnings and the creation of impactful global communication materials (videos).</em></strong></li></ul><p> </p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong><em>We are looking for a pioneer with a drive for excellence. Someone that holds themselves accountable and doesn’t shy away from responsibility. Given the nature of the role we feel it’s important for you to have a willingness to learn as well as a solid understanding of your own added value. We thrive in diverse teams and look for people that appreciate that as much as we do. We can give you a list of “must haves”, however that’s not how we view your candidacy. We do, of course, take into consideration your English fluency and overall interest or experience in law, data privacy and competition law, but ultimately we look at the bigger picture. But to give you a bit of guidance as to what we feel is needed in this role, we’ll share our “nice to have” list with you:</em></strong></p><ul><li><strong><em>A strong eye for visual composition, creativity, tech-savviness</em></strong></li><li><strong><em>Good communicator both verbally and in writing</em></strong></li><li><strong><em>Enjoys working in a team</em></strong></li><li><strong><em>Law student in the last bachelor degree year or in a master programme </em></strong></li></ul><p><strong><em>Important:</em></strong> <strong><em>To be considered as a candidate for this internship,</em></strong> </p><ul><li>EU/EEA students: you <strong>need to be enrolled at a University for the whole duration of the internship and this needs to be a mandatory part of your study curriculum. </strong>In case of voluntarily internship purpose, a tri-parties agreement may be requested to be signed by you and your university. </li><li><strong>Non-EU/EEA students: you need to be enrolled at a Dutch University and your university needs to sign the Nuffic Agreement</strong>. <strong>The internship needs to be a compulsory part of your studies (eg, receive ECTS in turn).</strong> <strong> </strong>   </li></ul><p><strong><em>This position
