About the Role

Brightline brings virtual and soon in-person behavioral and mental health care to families, when and where they need it. We are looking for a stellar Part Time Front Desk Coordinator who will support our Brightline members with admissions calls, scheduling, and other administrative requests while also being part of starting up a brand new in-person clinic. You will be joining a small, but mighty team at the cusp of an exciting growth phase, and will be integral in helping us provide exceptional support to every member who accesses our services. Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Be the first person to welcome our patients and their families to the clinic and check patients in for their visits

  • Answer phone inquiries for ad hoc questions before and during a member’s course of care and oversee daily clinic operations (the big picture and the nitty-gritty), including daily opening and closing duties as well as regular office upkeep

  • Scheduling initial and ongoing appointments for members

  • Ensuring a smooth patient experience by verifying that member paperwork has been completed and assisting with ongoing scheduling needs

  • Supporting providers in-person and virtually with a variety of administrative tasks in clinic,

  • Conducting insurance eligibility checks, billing and payment inquiries and collections, and assisting clinicians with completing prior authorizations when the need arises

  • Identifying ways to delight our members, ease the workday for our clinical team, and overall improve our operational processes as we scale

  • Maintenance of clinic space (upkeep, light decor for special occasions, etc.)

This is a fully in-clinic role with the hours of 8am-2pm OR 12pm-6pm EST. Potential weekend rotational coverage will be needed (e.g., every other Saturday).

  • Exceptional organizational skills as well as the ability to be flexible with what you work on and prioritize day to day 

  • Previous experience working in a medical office and/or familiarity with insurance billing are a bonus.

This position is 100% onsite, part-time 20 hours per week. The target range for this position is $20-23/hour. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including certifications, experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
