Who You Are

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Network Engineer with deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, advanced networking, and security, specifically within AWS and Meraki environments. Your role will be pivotal in optimizing and advancing our cloud-based network infrastructure, driving innovation, and ensuring seamless network performance across hybrid cloud architectures. You will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of cloud-based networking strategies, with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.

As a Senior Cloud Network Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to architect, manage, and secure our AWS cloud network and Meraki cloud-managed networks. You will be at the forefront of ensuring robust cloud network connectivity, scalability, and security, contributing significantly to network infrastructure strategy and execution. You will also act as an escalation point for complex cloud networking issues, collaborating closely with IT and Security teams to ensure alignment with business needs and cloud best practices.

Your Success Profile

What You Will Work On

• Network Performance Monitoring
• Use AWS CloudWatch to monitor cloud network infrastructure performance, identifying and resolving issues related to network throughput, latency, and availability across AWS regions.
• Network Security Management
• Ensure that security controls such as security groups, network ACLs, and VPN configurations are in place and regularly updated to maintain a secure cloud environment.
• Network Design & Optimization
• Design, configure, and optimize AWS Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) environments, including management of subnets, routing tables, VPNs, inter-VPC peering, and transit gateway architecture for secure, scalable cloud connectivity.
• Network Expansion & Capacity Planning
• Lead initiatives to scale cloud network infrastructure in AWS, integrating new regions, services, or locations with minimal disruption.
• Evaluate cloud network growth and future needs, ensuring both AWS and Meraki networks meet organizational demands for traffic throughput and high availability.
• Network Troubleshooting & Support
• Proactively troubleshoot network issues related to performance, connectivity, or security in both AWS cloud and Meraki cloud networks, ensuring minimal downtime and fast resolution.
• Use cloud-native and third-party tools for detailed diagnostics of cloud networking issues, including VPNs, routing, and connectivity across AWS environments.
