Where we could use your strengths!

As International Product Manager Look-O-Look, you will be part of the Marketing department, part of our commercial organization in the Benelux. Want to get insight into our company immediately? Click here and here. The Marketing department is always evolving and continuously responds to the latest developments within FMCG. The department counts six brand teams and a Media & Insights team. As International Product Manager Look-O-Look, you will be part of the brand team Candy, and reports to the International Portfolio & Innovation Manager Look-O-Look. 

 

Together with your manager you are responsible for managing projects focused on business changes in our key iconic products for the Look-O-Look Brand. Theme’s you could think of are product innovation, pack change, quality improvement, limited edition - from project initiation through to implementation & launch. Therefore, you will work closely with the two local Marketing Look-O-Look teams. Furthermore, this role interfaces extensively with Marketing, Finance, R&D, P&T, Quality, Legal, Consumer Insights and all functions within Global Supply Chain (Procurement, Artwork, Manufacturing and Customer Service and Logistics), to deliver projects within the specified time, cost and quality parameters. Finally, the leading markets are Benelux and the Export markets within Europe.

Your core tasks in a nutshell:

  • Project planning: facilitation of the definition of project scopes, goals, tasks and resource (people and cost) requirements; 
  • Cross-functional project team management; identifying and engaging cross functional representatives forming a team to deliver the project brief;
  • Monitoring project progress and provide corrective action if necessary;
  • Maintaining project documentation and reporting to communicate clear status of projects, key timings, issues & risks;
  • Maintaining quality communication with all functions engaged in the project, including raising profile of projects through representation of projects at senior forums;
  • Ensuring that suitable risk assessment and contingency planning takes place -  to keep the project on track, accelerate or stop the project if the business need exists;
  • Ensuring that project scopes and timing take into consideration minimizing waste (raw, pack write-offs) and unwanted complexity (utilizing existing asset platforms, SKU proliferation) to the business system;
  • Enabling best practice sharing by ensuring all projects are properly closed and key learning’s are documented and preparing project evaluations when required;
  • Initiation of finished goods Master data setup and communicate completed information to all stakeholders so all systems can be properly set up to produce, ship, sell and invoice our products; 
  • Ensuring correct Product Labeling Specifications (PLS) handling, Artwork process coordination and Co packing handling.

The ideal recipe for our International Product Manager Look-O-Look:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree;
  • A minimum of 3(+) years’ experience in FMCG marketing, with a focus on NPD and Portfolio management;
  • Solid project management experience and project management process knowledge, preferably in New Product Launches or Product Change;
  • Working knowledge of the supply chain and basic supply chain principles are an benefit;
  • FMCG experience is a benefit;
  • Ability to demonstrate strong meetings management, advanced facilitation and communication skills across a broad range of stakeholders;
  • Strong initiative to problem solving and framing alternative solutions and driving delivery;
  • Strong presentation skills to influence at a senior level;
  • Process oriented – ability to monitor, measure, report;
  • Initial team management experience a plus.
