JOB SUMMARY:

This is a Government Operations Consultant I in the General Tax Administration (GTA) Program, Business Technology Office, Return and Revenue Processing Team. The incumbent verifies file load emails, reviews and works incidents and inquiries, and participates in the analysis of General Tax Administration online filing systems by participating in requirements gathering, system testing, and other related duties as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Two or more years of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • One or more years of experience using Microsoft Azure Dev Ops.

PREFERENCES: 

  • Experience with the State of Florida’s tax laws, rules, and procedures.
  • Experience navigating and interpreting account information using SUNTAX tax accounting software.    
  • Ability to effectively work with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Strong reading comprehension, research, writing, and analytical skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

  • The location for this job is in Tallahassee, FL.

SALARY: $40,320.84 - $85,005.12 / annually
