Your Key Responsibilities

• Realizes development, implementation and optimization of production technology for production of new and existing Schaeffler products.  Develop, validate and implement production technologies.
• Focuses all efforts to track, achieve and sustain goals and objectives.  Devises and ensures timely implementation of cost savings projects
• Prepares timely business cases and requests of capital expenditures.  Provide capital planning data in a timely and accurate manner to ensure quality forecasting
• Ensure capital expenditures are on-track to forecasts.  Ensure timely implementation of capital to meet projects and customer requirements
• Responsible to devise and implement robust manufacturing process that meet benchmark technology capabilities.  Owns, devises and implement complete and accurate PFMEAs
• Work together with Quality group to devise and implement appropriate metrology plan to ensure measurement capabilities.  Direct and track projects progress

Your Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from four-year college or university
• Strong analytical skills, being able to identify trends and opportunities
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency in meeting customer expectations and delivering results.

 

 Preferred

• Strong organizational, motivation, and communication skills.
• Experience in manufacturing or similar environment
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
• Six Sigma training a strong plus
• Ability to travel up to 25% for plant
