About this role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team in the heart of Berlin. In this pivotal role, you will define and execute our data modeling and analysis strategy, drive data governance and quality assurance excellence, take the lead in tool and system innovation, and introduce best practices and mentoring.

You will work closely with business intelligence professionals, senior engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders from sales, procurement, and accounting to develop features that drive business growth.

Tasks

What You Will Do

• Lead the development and maintenance of the company’s BI structure to support strategic business initiatives
• Conduct complex data analysis to extract deep insights and trends that drive business growth and operational efficiency
• Create advanced dashboards, reports, and visualizations that facilitate data-driven decision-making at all levels of the organization
• Act as a strategic partner to senior management and department heads, understanding their data needs and delivering actionable intelligence
• Translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical specifications for robust data reporting and analysis
• Facilitate data-driven discussions and workshops with stakeholders to enhance organizational data literacy
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across the organization
• Develop and implement comprehensive data validation and cleansing processes to maintain the highest data quality standards
• Lead the continuous improvement and optimization of the BI infrastructure and reporting capabilities using advanced BI tools and platforms (such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and Databricks)
• Mentor and develop junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team

Requirements

What you bring

• Master’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of extensive experience in business intelligence, data analysis, and reporting.
• Proven track record of delivering strategic insights and high-quality reports in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau/Power BI, SQL and Google Sheets
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and real-time data processing frameworks
