<h3>Company Description</h3><p><strong><em>****We have a fantastic opportunity for 3 experienced Microbiology Analysts to join our client site based just outside Waterford City***  </em></strong></p><p><strong>Please note applicants must have at least 2-3 years’ strong technical knowledge and experience in Microbiology methods and application to be considered for these positions. </strong></p><p>The purpose of this job is to work in a cross functional team to assist in the introduction of methods, practices and procedures to both QC and production and help to ensure aseptic and sterility assurance principles are implemented and maintained from the project phase to routine operation.</p><p><br/> Consider joining Eurofins where people are the most important element in our business.  Eurofins is a leading contract lab that provides testing and research services in the environmental, pharmaceutical, and biopharmaceutical sciences to clients worldwide.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><ul><li>Assist with the introduction, routine testing and validation of all Microbiology methods in the house including but not limited to Environmental Monitoring, Water sampling/ analysis, Microbial Identifications, Growth Promotion, Sterility, Endotoxin (rapid method), Microbial Limit Testing, Biological Indicators</li><li>Reading of test plates, data review, trending.</li><li>Performance of laboratory sampling and testing.</li><li>Assist with Media fill visual inspections</li><li>Provide technical knowledge and guidance on aseptic assurance, sterility assurance and trending as applicable to the production environment for the duration of the project and during routine operation</li><li>Provide support and backup to the PSS Group Lead and take on delegated tasks/projects as required.</li><li>To assist in the preparation for internal / customer/ regulatory inspections.</li><li>Provide support and subject matter expert knowledge in investigations associated with deviations</li><li>Provide associated training for junior analysts</li><li>To work on own initiative and be capable of developing solutions to problems as part of a team.</li><li>To document data as dictated by current client policies and procedures.</li><li>Meet with the client project team lead daily and provide updates</li><li>Ensure that the customer gets the best possible service by continually reviewing best practice in relation to both commercial and quality issues and ensuring 100% ethical work standards and GMP compliance.</li><li>To revise SOPs as required by the PSS Group Lead or client representative.</li><li>To review analytical data for GMP compliance</li><li>Demonstrate problem solving in delivering process and analytical understanding.</li><li>Good understanding of requirements for working in a GMP environment.</li><li>Ability to quickly learn new processes.</li><li>Ability to communicate clearly and to form strong working relationships with colleagues.</li><li>Ability to work on own initiative and be capable of developing solutions to problems as part of a team.</li><li>Willing to operate in a flexible manner and be able to switch priorities at short notice.</li><li>Good team player, organised, accurate, have strong documentation skills.</li><li>To learn and be aware of the customer’s requirements and strive to meet or exceed those requirements keeping in mind the customer process end points.</li><li>To train as required, other members of staff in techniques in which the Analyst is competent.</li><li>To keep the laboratory area clean and tidy in both ‘seen’ and ‘unseen’ areas.</li><li>To provide cover for other members of staff as required</li><li>To ensure that all documentation is carried out on time, is accurate and legible and conforms to the relevant quality standards.</li><li>To keep their training records up to date and participate in and initiate training as required by the customer or directed by the PSS Group Lead.</li><li>To update any relevant documentation when requested</li></ul><p> </p><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Ability to work independently and meeting established timelines</li><li>At least 2-3 years’ strong technical knowledge and experience in Microbiology methods and application</li><li>Demonstrated interest in the application of Microbiology principles to industrial settings</li><li>Demonstrated ability in the performance of QC Microbiology methods (in industry or other settings including college projects)</li><li>Knowledge of cGMPs/GLP standards</li><li>Excellent communication skills both written and verbal</li><li>Customer focus; takes personal responsibility for speed; quality and accuracy of delivery</li><li>Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure</li><li>Successful track record in achieving goals as part of a team within a growing, dynamic environment</li><li>Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility to support a growing organisation. </li><li>Ability to quickly learn new processes.</li><li>Ability to communicate clearly and
