ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Associate, Sales Analysis – Walmart, you’ll play a key role in shaping the growth strategy for one of the world’s largest retailers. In this highly visible and data‑driven position, you’ll transform insights into action by supporting best‑in‑class strategies that drive category growth, strengthen shopper engagement, and elevate the performance of SC Johnson brands at Walmart. This role is ideal for analytical thinkers and emerging sales professionals who want to deepen their influence, partner closely with cross‑functional teams, and help bring smarter, more compelling solutions to the shelf.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides retailer-specific solutions and recommendations based on key learnings and insights generated through analyses and research from a broad range of data sources as well as from our Shopper Insights and Center of Excellence teams

  • Mines and analyzes data from sources such as syndicated scanner and panel data, retailer point-of-sale data, and space planning software

  • Provides category analyses, insights and recommendations for assortment, retail pricing, and trade promotions

  • Utilizes category and aisle expertise to provide shelf merchandising and item placement recommendations

  • Develops plan-o-grams using space management software

  • This is a rotational position, and the candidate will be required to transfer to another assignment after 2 - 3 years

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

Technical Skills

  • Experience with retailer specific data tools (POS, Retailer data), along with application of basic financial measures and business math

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).

  • Ability to develop, deliver and execute an objective fact-based presentation.

  • Exposure to Planogram tools

  • Basic working knowledge of category management principles and practices

Leadership Skills

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required for building internal and external relationships and working on a high-performance team

  • Proactive and committed to delivering results in a fast paced, demanding work environment by fostering a sense of urgency, energy, ownership, and a curiosity to search for opportunities

  • Comfort in dealing with ambiguity and ability to work in a self-directed environment

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Full time role in Rogers, AR SCJ office

  • Ability to travel up to 20%

  • Remote work is available once per week for eligible employees

  • This role is not eligible for relocation
