The Direct Tax team in our National Support Center (NSC) is looking for a Senior Manager of Income Tax at their Lafayette Hill, PA office. This is a hybrid position-- three days in office required.

About the Role:
You will:
• Manage corporate income tax-related matters, including tax provisions, tax compliance, and tax planning initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and manage complex tax matters.
• Oversee, lead, and manage the tax accounting in accordance with GAAP, including the year-end tax provision and related financial statement footnotes, effective tax rate, provision-to-return adjustments, and maintenance of income tax-related G/L accounts.
• Manage the accurate preparation of all income tax estimates, extensions, and returns.
• Ensure compliance with all income tax filing requirements and deadlines.
• Manage federal, state, and local income tax audits & inquiries.
• Proactively identify tax compliance, planning, and risk mitigation opportunities to maximize the overall direct tax efficiency.
• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to enhance and optimize income tax functions and operations.
• Monitor changes and updates in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company.
• Analyze business transactions and assist with tax guidance on mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, accounting, legal and other departments.
• Provide active management, development and training of at least one income tax professional and evaluate opportunities for role expansion and/or additional teammates.
• Set clear performance expectations and goals for teammates and conduct regular performance evaluations to assess progress and provide feedback.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors & auditors.
• Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.

About You:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting with CPA designation and/or advanced degree in taxation highly desirable.
• 7+ years of tax experience, combination of public and industry preferred.
• Technical knowledge and experience with ASC 740.
• 3+ years of management experience
• Wholesale distribution experience preferred.
