Job Description:
Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Sr Material Specialist to join our Logistics team based in Grand Prairie, TX.
Duties include coordinating logistical support for the Grand Prairie facility, to facilitate movements for material coming in for repair/overhaul to the various MRO shops. Tasks to coordinate include receiving, verifying and inducting items in the MRO shops in a timely manner to support MRO-TAT, record keeping, movement of materials as well as providing customer support to both internal and external customers. This position will report to the Supervisor, Repairables Logistics

Your challenges:
Daily Activity: 50%
Receive and verify all inbound material and components to be inducted to shops.
Trouble shoot issues and coordinate with both internal and external customers as needed.
Ensure component log and log for parts sent to DFW for repairables is maintained.
Coordinate with blade shop for weekly consolidation of export shipment
Coordinate and help in the physical movement of materials, blades and components as required
Ensure proper packaging and preparation of shipments departing the Grand Prairie location.
