Position PurposeYou will perform critical administrative and clerical tasks that support the Building Environment Business Unit. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties or tasks assigned as required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to:
- Develop understanding of basic construction and engineering project flows and processes.
- Assist Bid Coordinator with managing Bids inbox by monitoring, prioritizing, and processing bid requests from sales personnel, project managers, subcontractors, and general contractors.
- Interacts with customers as necessary (Ex: request plans, specs and addendums or clarifications on bids to ensure data entering accurate records).
- Assists Bid Coordinator in the monitoring, flagging for entry, deletion, and accurate distribution of LBE mailbox order acknowledgements, shipping reports, and factory correspondence.
- Support the training of Corporate Administrative Assistants.
- Maintain COBE Training Materials on OneNote.
- Assist with marketing mailers and promotional products.
- Assists with customer appreciation and manufacturer product shows to include preparation, hosting, setup and takedown.
- Other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Good written and verbal communication with all levels of the organization
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to work independently while consistently meeting deadlines
- Excellent multitasking, time management, and task prioritization.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Basic reporting queries.
- 2 years of office related clerical/administrative experience

- Routine sitting, lifting, bending, and kneeling
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. from floor to countertop and countertop to floor.
