The major function of this position is:

To coordinate DC and parcel shipments across the Maui Jim network. Coordinate lost and damaged parcel claims. Support the logistics team in evaluating overall spend and service measurements. Strive for operational excellence and customer satisfaction while promoting a high level of teamwork and professionalism.

Hourly Rate of Pay: $21.50
Shift Range: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Monday through Friday)

Essential Duties:

  • Support parcel programs across the Maui Jim network including inbound, outbound, and cross trade movements.

  • Coordinate weekly DC shipments, including creating and sharing BOLs, arranging carrier pickups, and resolving commercial invoice and AWB issues. Maintain clear and proactive communication with outbound supervisors and leads to align on priorities, flag and troubleshoot any shipping issues, and confirm accurate carrier pickup times.

  • Manage the logistics of DC returns, including creating and validating commercial invoices, receiving into SAP, and monitoring the weekly inbound parcel receptions.

  • Partner with the Global Logistics Manager to develop event logistics processes. Coordinate all event transportation, including freight and duty quotations, preparing shipping documentation, applying for duty exceptions, troubleshooting clearance delays with brokers, and arranging return shipments. Ensure we are covering our freight and duty costs for every event and provide suggestions on amending our quotation process.

  • Monitor the tracer email inbox and file claims with carriers. For eligible claims under Intelligent Audit’s lost/damaged recovery process, partner with the vendor to support claim resolution. Track recovery rates and ROI, identify root causes, and provide feedback to logistics leadership.

  • Track, monitor and communicate shipment and clearance status to relevant stakeholders. Proactively identify and resolve potential shipping issues.

  • Serve as the primary link between carriers and internal stakeholders. Partner with order management and shipping teams to execute transportation plans and uphold service-level agreements. Act as the main point of contact for parcel vendors, adjusting pickup times as needed and providing regular performance feedback.

  • Collect and maintain all Import/Export logs and files for parcel programs in accordance with federal regulations. Support customs audit requests for shipping documentation.

  • Provide back up support to other Logistics Coordinator.

  • Encourage and drive change. Operational excellence is the goal, and there is always room for improvement.

  • Perform all other duties as requested or required.

  • Ability to key data into a computer for extended periods of time

  • Ability to communicate in a variety of business settings

As a guide, indicated below is the preferred education and experience for this position:


2+ years shipping and administrative experience. College coursework or certification in Logistics and/or Supply Chain preferred. SAP or TMS experience, preferred.
