Position Summary

This role leads the Enterprise Operations Executive Program Management team focused on Communications, Events, and Change Management and is accountable for delivering highimpact executive communications, pan-Enterprise Operations events, and transformation communications that enable clarity, alignment, and adoption across the organization.

The Manager of the Enterprise Operations Executive Program team is a hands-on people leader responsible not only for delivery excellence, but for developing the skills, capabilities, and career growth of a multidisciplinary team of program managers with strong executive communications, change management, engagement, and event management expertise. Success in this role requires strong judgment, deep functional expertise, and the ability to coach talent while operating at a fast pace and high level of executive exposure.

This role partners closely with Enterprise Operations leaders, Corporate Affairs, and Transformation Program Management teams to translate strategy into clear, compelling narratives and experiences. The manager establishes strong operating rhythms, standards, and processes that enable consistency, scalability, and continuous improvement—while serving as a trusted advisor on executive messaging, engagement, and change communications.

Key Responsibilities

People Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of executive communicators and engagement professionals.  Responsible for defining the strategic vision, long-term objectives, service level agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Communications & Engagement (C&E) team
  • Set clear priorities, goals, and development plans for team members while fostering collaboration and accountability
  • Create a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement in communications, engagement, and event delivery
  • Manage departmental resources, budgets, and project timelines to ensure optimal allocation and delivery of key initiatives according to published schedules

Program & Process Management

  • Establish and oversee operating rhythms, processes, and governance for communications, engagement, and events
  • Track progress, outcomes, and impact with clear metrics and executive reporting
  • Manage budgets, vendors, and resources with discipline
  • Continuously streamline and standardize communications, engagement, and events processes by leveraging automation and AI-enabled tools

Communications Program Management

  • Leading the development of a comprehensive Enterprise Operations Transformation Communications & Change Management strategy for the broader organization –ensuring alignment with the HP enterprise-wide strategy and vision
  • Oversee development of internal and external executive-level communications, including speech writing, visual storytelling, and multi-channel communications strategies
  • Provide editorial oversight to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with organizational strategy
  • Partner with senior executives to prepare impactful messaging, talking points, presentations, and narratives
  • Act as the primary liaison between Enterprise Operations and Corporate Affairs, facilitating effective communication, alignment, and collaboration on strategic, pan-HP initiatives.
  • Direct the design and execution of enterprise-wide employee engagement programs aligned with organizational priorities and the employee value proposition
  • Ensure programming is measurable, scalable, and effective in building culture and organizational health

Events Management

  • Lead the planning and execution of major enterprise events (leadership offsites, town halls, employee experiences), ensuring strategic alignment and flawless delivery
  • Lead and support Events Program team members, fostering collaboration and professional growth to ensure high-quality execution of all events and initiatives. Empower team members by providing guidance, resources, and opportunities for skill development
  • Supervise event strategy, content development, and logistics execution across the team
  • Champion the continuous improvement of event processes and experiences, leveraging feedback and best practices to consistently raise the bar for quality and innovation
  • Proactively elevate the Enterprise Operations brand by ensuring all events reflect our values, professionalism, and commitment to excellence
