Onsite – Buffalo, NYMoog Military Aircraft Group is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to plan, implement, and administer cost effective Quality Programs to assure that a system is in place which will meet or exceed contractual quality requirements and provide the required level of protection to Moog and its Customers.

The hardware that we produce is very complex, and therefore we will be looking for someone who understands the critical nature of it. This position is located onsite at our aerospace manufacturing facility in East Aurora, NY.
To be considered for Quality Assurance Engineer role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
- Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience in Engineering or Manufacturing
- Minimum of 2 years of Quality Engineering work experience in manufacturing including AS9100 standards or similar, statistics, spreadsheets, and database software packages
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will:

- Play an important part on program teams in meeting contractual requirements and driving crucial quality related decisions for customers such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Airbus, and Sikorsky for military aircraft.
- Act as the Moog liaison and representative to support Government (DCMA) programs, audits and requirements.
- Support production by conducting QE studies, recommending design changes and providing quality support to manufacturing personnel.
- Activities will include failure analysis, root cause and corrective action analysis, risk mitigation, material review, customer & governmental interface, audit support configuration control, traceability and audit support.
- Develop Quality plans for receiving inspection, manufacturing operations, assembly & test processes and final inspection.
- Work directly with customers and suppliers to identify root cause and corrective action.
- Optimize cost for inspection and prevent cost due to failure through statistical analysis and problem solving.
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and team building qualities and has been effective in resolving complex quality problems using a team approach.
- The Quality Engineer should be self-motivated and have the ability to follow through on assignments with limited supervision.
- Have the ability to work on several assignments and programs concurrently.

Salary Range Transparency:
Buffalo, NY $66,955.00–$115,000.00 AnnuallySalary Range Disclaimer
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
