The Director, Benchmarking & Data Products within our QUADS division, (Quantitative Analytics and Data Science), will oversee a portfolio of supply chain assessment services. The director will identify data product requirements, design solutions that solve complex supply chain business challenges at scale and advise supply chain leaders on benchmarking and diagnostic solutions. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the VP, Quantitative Analytics & Digital Innovation in Gartner Supply Chain practice.
What you’ll do:
Oversees the management and utilization of the portfolio of supply chain assessments (benchmarking and diagnostic data products)
Shapes the overall assessment services strategy and leads key initiatives to achieve strategic objectives.
Leads calls with clients and prospective clients to help them participate in and get value from key assessment services.
Partners with assessment leads and cross-functional teams to deliver solution roadmaps and identify opportunities to scale solutions/features.
Partners with assessment leads to develop quantitative models/frameworks and measurements to improve assessments.
Applies design thinking and user experience principles to build and improve digital assessment solutions that are actionable, high quality, and easy to use.
Analyzes large volumes of assessment data sources to derive data-led insights and contribute to content publications.
Ensures quality of outputs (e.g., online assessment tools, backend process automations, data visualizations) produced by the team.
What you’ll need:
A masters’ degree required; PhD preferred
10+ years of progressive professional research or consulting experience with a focus on building and managing data-based digital products (e.g., benchmarking tools)
Experience with statistical and analytical tools (e.g., Python, SPSS and Power BI)
Experience converting qualitative and quantitative information into clear frameworks and visually compelling presentations.
Strong business acumen and intellectual curiosity to process and understand information quickly, as well as diagnose issues to make actionable recommendations.
