Description 

The Shiseido Summer Internship program is a paid, full time 9-week program for college rising Juniors or Seniors starting June 3rd through August 2nd. We are committed to your professional development so during your time here, you can expect to participate in meaningful projects, networking, professional development workshops, speaker series, volunteer activities, and you will also have the opportunity to connect with your global peers across the world!  

 

Responsibilities

• Understand the nature of SAC brand Gross to Net Expenses, forecasting impacting on Net Sales and Gross Margin as well as Gross to Net Actuals vs. Forecast Accuracy.

• Compile a retailer specific historical product return/DIF/Discount Analysis vs. approved RA amounts and analyze how the long each retailer takes to execute approved product returns
• Put together a recommendation on how to forecast for returns by each key retailer and how to use findings to inform financial forecasting process.
• Complete a historical analysis of Returns and DIFs across SAC brands by product category to understand if any specific trends emerge (as % of Gross Sales)
• Work closely with LSE FP&A and Sales business partners to understand returns process. Present findings to LSE FP&A and Sales Development business partners.
• Support Ad-Hoc Analyses on the US Finance Team

 

Requirements

• Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor’s degree  
• Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and highly organized 
• Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented 
• Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, safety-first work environment 
• Have a passion for cosmetics, beauty industry and consistently keeping up-to-date with trends
