We seek a results-oriented Channel Sales and Marketing Program Specialist who is passionate about creating and scaling programs for the Cadence channel partner ecosystem. Reporting to the Pipeline Generation team, this newly created role will be responsible for developing and executing integrated sales and marketing strategies with our channel partners worldwide for the Systems product portfolio across PCB design, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), RF/Microwave, Signal and Power Integrity, and other CAE workflows. The primary objectives are to align these strategies with sales priorities and business unit goals, focusing on driving substantial growth through the development and execution of comprehensive sales and marketing campaigns through integrated MDF programming, partner communications, and partner enablement.
Responsibilities
Create go-to-market campaign kits and marketing playbooks for Cadence Channel Partners across the Systems portfolio of products
Manage the content strategy and assets on the Channel Partner Portal
Collaborate closely with channel partners to develop clear marketing strategies aligned with corporate channel priorities
Manage the global MDF budget, administer POs, and track the Proof of Performance and ROI on MDF activities
Develop innovative co-marketing programs for channel partners that ensure a high volume of leads and ROI for both parties. Establish repeatable and measurable KPIs for these initiatives
Ensure lead generation and demand creation targets for all channel marketing activities are forecasted, planned for, and met; this includes establishing lead generation metrics with partners against MDF plans
Establish a lead follow-up mechanism with all partners. Align these programs with recently established inside sales initiatives. Report monthly on pipeline results
Measure, analyze, and report on channel marketing pipeline activities to determine their contribution to pipeline health and to evaluate engagement effectiveness/ROI
Onboard new partners to our Partner Marketing Center and increase partner usage of the platform
Minimum Requirements
An undergraduate degree in marketing, business, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience in a global, publicly traded B2B technology company
Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans for global reseller and channel programs with demonstrated results and KPIs
Demonstrated ability to manage and allocate budgets for global channel marketing initiatives effectively, maximizing ROI and driving cost-efficiency
Proficient in translating complex channel strategies into clear, concise communications that resonate with executive leadership, facilitating informed decision-making and strategic alignment at the highest levels of the organization
Strong brand management skills to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation across diverse global channels. Experience in protecting and enhancing brand equity in collaboration with channel partners
Proficient in leveraging data analytics and market intelligence to make informed decisions and optimize channel marketing performance
Strong understanding of channel dynamics, partner ecosystems, and indirect sales channels
Proficiency in all aspects of campaign development and management, including, but not limited to, social media, ABM, and digital marketing programs
Strong collaboration, influencing, and project management skills
Familiarity with Marketo, SalesForce, and other relevant technologies to streamline channel marketing processes and enhance efficiency
Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills
The annual salary range for California is $84,000 to $156,000. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
