Rising to the challenge of creating innovative treatments for patients, we bring you a complete range of interventional oncology products that focus on Access, Loco-regional treatments and Endovascular embolization.</p> <h2>Job Summary</h2> <p>Are you passionate about medical writing and oncology? Do you have experience in conducting literature reviews, publishing abstracts and scientific papers, and supporting regulatory affairs? If so, you might be the perfect candidate for our Senior Medical Sciences Specialist position.<br/> We are a leading medical device company that specializes in Therapeutic Interventional Oncology (TIO), a field that combines minimally invasive procedures with targeted therapies to treat cancer. We are looking for a Senior Medical Sciences Specialist to join our TIO team and help us communicate our clinical evidence and scientific insights to various stakeholders.</p> <p><br/> In this role you will report to Christian Reul, Global Medical Development Program Lead TIO and join up with a Medical Studies Coordinator in the European Medical and Clinical Division within Terumo Europe. Our European HQ is located in Leuven, Belgium. For this position we are open for remote work, if the candidate location is within reasonable distance from our headquarters. </p> <h2>Job Responsibilities</h2> <p>As Senior Medical Sciences Specialist, you will be responsible for: </p> <p>•    Leading scientific literature review and supporting internal/external publication/abstract submission of the TIO clinical program, in close collaboration with external experts.<br/> •    Elaborating the scientific narrative and preparing the materials supporting the clinical claims used by product specialists in the field (e.g. slide decks, one-pager summaries) on key strategic publications for TIO product portfolio, in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and key opinion leaders.<br/> •    Ensuring scientific accuracy in marketing materials and written documents for regulatory affairs and the legal department.<br/> •    Being involved in the development and execution of data dissemination plans for TIO clinical studies.<br/> •    Supporting the TIO Medical Advisor Team in answering unsolicited medical inquiries based on literature data.<br/> •    Supporting market access activities, e.g. contributing to writing value dossiers. <br/> •    Supporting regulatory affairs by providing available scientific evidence to fulfil MDR requirements of the TIO product portfolio<br/>  </p> <h2>Profile Description</h2> <p>To be successful in this role, you will need: </p> <p>•    An advanced medical/ scientific degree with 3 years of prior experience in working in medical/scientific writing: publications, clinical investigation reports etc.<br/> •    Prior experience in oncology is strongly preferred. <br/> •    Experience in collaborating with external experts on medical or clinical operations is also preferred. Experience within a CRO is a plus. <br/> •    Excellent understanding of publication guidelines and practices (e.g. ICMJE, CONSORT, PRISMA). With complementary high-level writing and communication skills. <br/> •    Excellent knowledge of online publication and clinical study databases (e.g. MEDLINE, Embase, Cochrane, ClinicalTrials.gov, EudraCT) and search tools and principles.<br/> •    Willingness to adhere to rigorous internal quality standards (e.g. for clinical trial documents development, systematic literature search execution) and to contribute to process optimization and improvement.<br/> •    Fluency in English, one other European language is a plus.<br/>  </p> <h2>Offer</h2> <p>Join a world-class medical device company that is at the forefront of Therapeutic Interventional Oncology?
