The Security Team works to preserve the safety and security of employees, visitors, and property per company policies and applicable laws. We are actively seeking a Security Supervisor for the Pendelton, SC campus. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Maintain vigilance and manage authorized and unauthorized access to Arthrex facilities.
2. Respond to emergencies such as medical, fire, theft, trespassing, and acts of violence.
3. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
4. Monitor facilities by physical and electronic means.
5. Coordinate the activity of outside emergency personnel and equipment while on the premises.
6. Facilitate communication regarding security policies and procedures across the organization to ensure cooperation and consistency.
7. Provide assistance to contractors/visitors while ensuring adherence to all site policies and procedures.
8. Identify and verify contractors/visitors information via system and/or badge access to ensure compliance to policies and security to Arthrex facilities.
9. Follow specific instructions and designated guidelines for different types of visitors/contractors and events.
10. Ability to share knowledge and train others when needed.

 

Required Education/ Experience:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent required, B.S. preferred.
2. 10 or more years of experience in a related security field required, at least 2 years in leadership position.
3. MOAB trainer preferred. 
4. South Carolina Licenses: South Carolina Law Enforcement Division Primary Basic, Primary Plus and SLED Firearms training are required within 180 Days of employment.
5. Florida Security Licenses: D, G and a CCW Permit are required within 180 Days of employment.
6. Failure to meet the license requirements will result in separation.
7. Pass psychological evaluation qualification.

8. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize workloads for maximum effectiveness.
9. Ability to communicate issues and problem solve effectively with Corporate Security Mgmt. team.
10. Have the technical background and experience to respond to complex and challenging incidents.
11. Participate in new hire interviewing and onboarding.
12. Participate in depth training of Corporate Security Officers.
