As a SAP Senior Technical Developer and Integration Lead at Clarkston, you will:

• Lead and manage small teams to provide technical development expertise including, but not limited to, ABAP, SAP PI/PO, SAP UI5, Netweaver, SAP Cloud Integration, and SAP Cloud Platform
• Conduct solution architecting workshops with business managers
• Work with client staff and end-users to determine the technical requirements for the system within SAP
• Provide integration architecture guidance to functional teams to build functional designs, prepare the technical design based on specifications, estimate workload, and contribute to process improvement involving code development and design to meet required SLAs
• Apply strong knowledge of the business processes for designing, developing, and testing SAP functions
• Develop SAP systems to meet client business requirements, including hands on development and oversight of reports, interfaces, conversions forms, enhancements, and forms (RICEF), and implementation of SAP best practices
• Conduct knowledge transfer and training of end-users, including sharing best practices
• Provide leadership to junior systems analyst and client personnel assigned to projects
• Conduct knowledge sharing and serve as a go-to subject matter expert for other company functional staff in support of client project deliverables
• Be available to answer questions that may arise from past or current clients
• Define and develop best practices, solution demonstrations, and functional configurations within the Clarkston Labs environment to support current clients and sales pursuits

Travel Requirement

Travel is an integral part of this role and is estimated to average 30-50%. This may vary based upon client and project needs. While travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19 restrictions, all non-essential travel has been limited and any on-site requests are subject to review. When not traveling, consultants work from their home office. Relocation is not required.

What We’re Looking For:

An ideal SAP Senior Technical Developer and Integration Lead candidate would have the following qualifications and experience:

• A minimum of seven (7) years prior SAP technical consulting or equivalent industry experience
• Successful completion of at least two (2) full lifecycle implementations as an SAP technical consultant
• A minimum of 1 full cycle implementation of SAP S/4
• Experience in an S/4 conversion (upgrade) is a big plus
• Two (2) years of hands-on team lead experience leading technical teams in SAP implementations
• Strong understanding of systems development lifecycle, system implementation methodologies, and object-oriented programming
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong ability to facilitate discussions and negotiate mutually beneficial solutions when necessary
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior level executives
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong client services orientation and accustomed to taking an active role in executin
