We’re seeking a dedicated and organized Executive Secretary to support two senior  leaders: the Sr. Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer and the Vice President of Advanced Practice Providers at Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus. 

This role is about more than managing calendars and meetings—it’s about helping leaders stay focused on their purpose by ensuring the details are handled with care. You’ll work behind the scenes to keep schedules running smoothly, prepare meeting agendas and minutes, coordinate travel, and support projects and event planning as needed. 

A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00 a.m. -- 5:00 p.m. OR 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on-site at Main Campus with the ability to float to the Independence Cleveland Clinic location. 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Provides administrative support for executive level managers.
  • Coordinates diverse activities, interacts with various organizational units, utilizes conflict resolution and deals with highly confidential and organizationally sensitive matters.
  • Receives and screens visitors while answering telephone calls then uses independent judgment to determine priority and sensitivity of inquiries and responses.
  • Prepares and supervises the preparation of correspondence, forms, reports and other written communications.
  • Schedules and coordinates; meetings, conferences, special events, appointments and travel arrangements.
  • Maintains assigned calendar(s). Originates, prepares, processes and edits personnel, financial or operational reports and documents.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • High school diploma or GED. 
  • Five years experience in a medical, commercial or industrial environment that included the coordination of diverse activities, interaction with various organizational units, conflict resolution and dealing with highly confidential and organizationally sensitive matters. 
  • Experience supporting executive leadership with core day-to-day administrative tasks 
  • A strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with calm and clarity 
  • Proactive and forward-thinking; anticipates needs and ensures continuous progress
  • Comfort with handling confidential information and supporting sensitive decision-making processes 
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional presence 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word 
  • Experience in setting up in-person and virtual meetings 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Four years of college and/or business school
  • Typing proficiency of 65 wpm with accuracy
  • Specialized training in desktop office software
