We need a Human Resources Intern to dive into the world of employee engagement and talent management, helping to shape the future of Pattern's workforce while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment. We are looking for someone with extremely high standards who is efficient and not afraid to roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to help our people be successful. 

This is a full-time summer internship and will work a hybrid schedule (three days in office, two days remote each week) in Lehi, UT.

What is a day in the life of a Human Resources Intern?

  • Develop a working knowledge of the HRIS (Workday) system to accurately maintain and update employee records.

  • Support the clean-up and standardization of job descriptions and job profiles.

  • Coordinate and assist managing intern program activities, including planning and logistics.

  • Assist with new hire orientation and oversee the onboarding process, including contractor onboarding.

  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide timely, accurate information.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.

  • Plan and execute company events and activities to foster a positive workplace culture.

  • Support the day-to-day operations of the HR team, contribute to HR projects, and provide general administrative assistance as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the HR team and organizational goals.

  • Current student pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management or related field (HR degree preferred, but not required)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present information clearly and professionally

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities

  • A positive attitude and a passion for creating a welcoming and inclusive work environment

What is the team like?

  • You will work alongside an HR Generalist and be supervised by the Director of HR. This team is data driven and results oriented. You will collaborate regularly with members of your team to implement actionable solutions. Ideas and input are encouraged from all members.
