We are hiring for a Customer Service Representative in Lenexa, Kansas. The Customer Service Representative will report to the Customer Service Manager and serve as the focal point between operations and the customer to ensure timely response to all inquiries. Performs duties related to overall customer service. Serves as customer interface on order status and delivery. Maintains knowledge of Collins Aerospace organization and products to provide the appropriate information and support to customers. Consistently documents customer service needs to identify patterns and maintain quality.

What You Will Do:

  • Performs duties related to overall Customer Service.

  • Serves as customer interface on product status and delivery.

  • Maintains knowledge of RTX organization and products to provide the appropriate information and support to customers.

  • Consistently documents customer service needs to identify patterns and maintain quality.

  • Performs Order Administration duties including, but not limited to:

  • Data Entry

  • Service estimate editing & submission

  • Delivery/Shipment creation

  • Works in a team environment, but also has the capacity to tackle tasks under minimal supervision after training is completed.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)

  • Customer facing experience

  • Aerospace, manufacturing, production, engineering industry experience

  • Superior organizational skills

  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize competing tasks

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills

  • Able to anticipate needs and shows initiative
