You will be a key resource using their product knowledge, modeling and programming, or business systems skills to create solutions vital to the accurate execution of operational processes or to design and execute testing strategies on new product to mitigate future risk. Done in collaboration with a other technical areas (actuarial, IT, QA, compliance and legal). You will report to the Operations Technical Manager.

What you do:

Build, maintains, and enhances business systems and models essential to the successful completion of operational responsibilities and requiring integration of product design, administrative systems and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with IT and QA to design and implement testing strategies on our products to mitigate future risk and evaluate defects.
You will investigates causes and develop solutions for operational systems issues.
Assists with training and development of individuals. Peer reviewer of other’s work.
You will participate in important plans and special projects as assigned.
Documentation of processes, analysis performed and business systems built or modified.

What you bring:

2-3 years of experience required, Relevant technical and business experience
Four-year degree required, in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field; or specialized training or equivalent work experience
Licensing/Certification/Other, Intermediate ability demonstrated in: Knowledge of annuity and Life insurance product features and mechanics and their administration systems; Programming concepts; Knowledge of ACORD standards; Microsoft Excel functionality including Visual Basic for Applications; Data handling and analysis
