Title: Electromechanical Technology Faculty
Bargaining Unit/Salary Level: Salary and benefits commensurate with the Agreement between the MCCS Trustees and the MEA Faculty Unit. The pay range is mid $40,000s to low $50,000s, based on credentials.
Responsibilities: This full-time, on-campus faculty position in the Electronics Technology department will begin with the Fall 2025 semester. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a combination of day, evening, and online courses. Teaching load is governed by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which currently requires a workload of 25 contact hours. In addition to teaching, the faculty member will actively contribute to curriculum development and will also provide academic advising to students.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates degree
- Industrial experience
- Teaching experience at the post-secondary level
- Directly related experience in the following subject matter: electrical controls, industrial controls, industrial robotics, process control and measurement and electronic devices
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Experience with program development
- Previous experience teaching electronic Technology at the college level
- Experience with Brightspace or other Learning Management Systems
