The Manager of Financial Projects role at GuidePoint Security LLC (‘GuidePoint’) will support, organize, and/or lead significant project-based initiatives that impact the Accounting and Finance organization. These ad-hoc projects fall outside of the scope of regular day-to-day duties of other roles within GuidePoint. The exact responsibilities during the project lifecycles will be unique to each project but will include and are not limited to research, management, analyzing, testing, and training to ensure timely completion. This position will report to and support the Controller to ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls and GPS guidelines. The Manager of Financial Projects will work closely with key project stakeholders that include various roles within GuidePoint up to and including Regional Partners and “C” level executives.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting and finance tasks related to projects in various areas of the business by planning, implementing, establishing KPI’s and follow-up • Oversee the daily workflow related to projects and their development • Serve as both a lead and a liaison with executives, departments heads and other various SME’s to ensure GuidePoint Accounting and Finance goals are achieved • Monitor project progress and distribute periodic progress report for stakeholders • Develop, maintain and improve processes and controls associated to Accounting and Finance best practices • Represent accounting on teams designed to improve operations, reduce costs and improve company profitability • Identify manual processes, and implement automation to increase team efficiency and streamline financial statement close processes • Work with leadership as needed on ad hoc reports as well as help reconcile financial reports between various systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, OpenAir, and UKG • Other duties as assigned   Experience Requirements:   • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required, or equivalent in work experience • CPA preferred • At least 10 years of related experience with management experience preferred • Willingness to work in highly collaborative atmosphere and within a team • Excellent communication, analytical and reasoning skills with a high confidence in stating professional opinions required • Knowledge of ERP and accounting systems; experience with NetSuite ERP, Salesforce and OpenAir experience is highly desirable • Process design and development experience preferred • Inter-departmental communication skills • Possesses the ability to self-manage and adapt to changes, delays, or unexpected shifts in priorities while maintaining focus and productivity in a fast-paced environment • Demonstrated ability to streamline and automate complex business processes
