How you will make an impact

• Understanding the bigger picture, thinking outside the box to deliver technical solutions with a clear understanding of the technology, product, and end-user.

• Leading the design and development of AI and ML-based systems for analyzing 3D and 2D dental data, including triangular meshes, point clouds, and images to support dental and orthodontic treatment planning.

• Proactively mentoring teammates, championing software engineering best practices, and contributing to a culture of technical excellence, curiosity, and collaboration.

• Implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines to streamline and automate the build, test, and deployment processes for our applications.

• Utilizing the best practices for backend architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance in our systems.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 6 years of industry experience in IT

OR

• Masters / PhD AND 3 years of industry experience in IT

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• 3 years of experience in Python

• 3 years of experience applying conventional computer vision techniques to real-world problems.

• Strong mathematical fundamentals in linear algebra, calculus, and statistics.

• Extensive experience in the training and manipulation of machine learning models.

• History of supporting a great team culture centered around collaboration.

• Ability to balance highly creative thinking, with well-reasoned, testable designs, considering diverse potential solutions when solving problems.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver AI-based customer-facing products.
