Title: Clinical Training Team Lead, Vision
Reporting to: VP, Sales Operations and Training
Location: Fully Remote
Travel extensively throughout the assigned territory (50%-60%) to conduct training sessions, provide on-site support, and foster relationships with clinical teams.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Clinical Training Team Lead to join our Vision Team.
Position Overview: Leads and develops clinical training programs for medical devices, ensuring excellence in education delivery, team performance, and customer support while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Leadership & Management:
- Directs clinical training team operations, including workforce planning, scheduling, and performance management
- Manages departmental budget, including training events, travel expenses, and resource allocation
- Oversees team credentialing and continuous education programs
- Develops and maintains staffing strategies for both full-time and per diem personnel
Training Excellence & Quality:
- Establishes and maintains clinical training standards and protocols
- Evaluates trainer competency and performance through structured assessment programs
- Designs and implements clinical education resources and programs
- Manages adverse event reporting and resolution
- Conducts regular program audits and effectiveness evaluations
Program Development & Innovation:
- Creates and maintains standardized training methodologies and materials
- Develops comprehensive training agendas and experience frameworks
- Implements best practices across training programs
- Establishes metrics for measuring training effectiveness
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives
Operational Standards & Communication:
- Develops and enforces division-wide standardization including:
- Professional communication protocols
- Customer interaction standards
- Training documentation requirements
- Brand consistency (email signatures, virtual presence)
- Creates frameworks for ongoing practice support and customer engagement
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partners with Product Development for training input
- Coordinates with Regulatory Affairs for compliance requirements
- Collaborates with Sales/Marketing for field alignment
- Engages with Quality Assurance for process improvement
Key Performance Metrics:
- Quarterly Hands-On Training Sessions Conducted
- Quarterly Virtual Trainings Conducted
- Quarterly Industry Events- Days Attended
- Customer Satisfaction Scores
- Budget management effectiveness
- Days to Close a Work Order

Required Qualifications
Certification Requirements
- License in the medical field or training certificate preferred
Clinical Experience in Vision Care
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in vision care, including procedures such as cataract surgery, refractive surgery (e.g., LASIK), glaucoma manage
