Senior IT Technology Engineer

<p><b>Location:</b> Belgium - Zaventem | <b>Job-ID:</b> 210899 | <b>Contract type:</b> | <b>Business Unit:</b> System Engineering &amp; Technicians</p> <p> </p> <p><span><b>Life on the team</b></span></p> <p><br/> We are looking for a Senior IT Technology Engineer to support one of our international key accounts. This role is part of the IT &amp; D Operations to manage &amp; resolve daily business requests and incidents to monitor that service levels are maintained through regular reporting. </p> <p><br/> For this position you’ll be required to travel on a regular basis within Europe. In Belgium you’ll support multiple client locations Diest – Zaventem – Evere.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span><b>What you will do</b></span></p> <p><br/> •    Monitoring of Incident queues &amp; execution to technical resolution<br/> •    Monitoring of requests queues &amp; execution to technical resolution<br/> •    Working with the team, identify equipment,  configure, test, troubleshoot and install devices for Projects at the sites required<br/> •    Creation of documentation for knowledge sharing within the team <br/> •    Identify EOL devices, work with team and business divisions in replacement of devices<br/> •    Incident management <br/> •    Request management <br/> •    Project Technical support <br/> •    Creation of Standard Operating procedures<br/> •    End of Life (EOL) device replacement<br/> •    Support the IT leadership team in daily activities &amp; kaizens for improvements end users in the future in an agile manner</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span><b>What you’ll need</b></span></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Good knowledge of  <ul> <li>Microsoft Office 365</li> <li>Handheld Terminals</li> <li>Remote connection software (Soti Mobit)</li> <li>Term Proxies</li> </ul> </li> <li>Experience with incident management</li> <li>Experience with assets management</li> <li>You have strong co-ordination and communication skills and enjoy working as a team</li> <li>You have excellent planning and organisational skills are a must</li> <li>You can work autonomously and take responsibility for your own area</li> <li>You are fluent in Dutch and English</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Additional Information:<br/> •    Travel within EU is expected on a monthly basis<br/> •    Ability to work within a hybrid mode is possible<br/>  </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span><b>About us</b></span></p> <p>Computacenter is a leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services.
