Currently, ManTech is seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering and Implementation Manager (EIM) to oversee and manage all engineering projects and initiatives. You will ensure seamless integration of projects through our engineering pipeline, act as a change agent, define new ways of developing product and packaging solutions, and help the organization become more effective and Agile. This position offers a remote work location.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee and manage engineering projects to ensure timely and successful completion.
  • Ensure seamless integration of projects through the engineering pipeline.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Manage and mentor engineering and operations personnel.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Ensure cross-functional team collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage a customer-focused continuous improvement program.
  • Implement technical and process changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Promote and institutionalize the utilization of AI and other emergent technologies.
  • Collaborate with architects, operations personnel, and other stakeholders to gather service requirements.
  • Ensure the delivery of service capabilities that meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Manage Agile and DevOps projects.
  • Facilitate the transition of systems/applications into a cloud environment.
  • Promote Agile methodologies and DevOps practices to enhance project outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Certified ITIL 4 Specialist High-Velocity IT.
  • A bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience managing engineering and operations personnel in a similar technical environment.
  • Experience overseeing the execution of projects similar in size, scope, and complexity.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience implementing technical and process changes in a highly complex infrastructure environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • An active Project Management Institute Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification.
  • Professional-level cloud certification in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or MS Azure.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience managing Agile and DevOps projects.
  • Experience managing the transition of systems/applications into a cloud environment.
  • Experience delivering emergent technologies to complex business solutions.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must hold an active Top-Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time 

  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel 

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer 

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations 

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. 

The projected compensation range for this position is $128,100-$181,900. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
