About the role

We seek a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) with high integrity and professionalism who can join our Human Resources (HR) team in our Texas office.

The HRBP works under the guidance of the HR Program Manager to develop employee capabilities and improve the performance of business operations within a designated client program by partnering with the Regional Account Manager. This will include facilitating and implementing key HR strategies and client-specific initiatives to recruit, hire, retain and develop the workforce throughout the United States and future Surefox international locations.

In addition, the HRBP will support the administrative activities for a variety of company sponsored programs to include all benefits programs such as medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, COBRA, life insurance, disability, 401(k), and wellness. The HRBP will develop and implement process improvements in the HR department's service support provided to their teams and assist with day-to-day operations as well as showcase their communication, employee relations expertise, and organizational skills to ensure our client is appropriately supported and able to contribute to the business strategies and Surefox's overall mission and values.

Base Annual Salary: $80,000.00 - 90,000.00
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (in office - Frisco, TX)

What you will do:

  • Administer employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, spending accounts, commuter benefits, retirement plans, voluntary & supplemental offerings, wellness programs, and COBRA

  • Responsible for recommendation and implementation of open enrollment strategy for employees; manage open enrollment platforms for employees to elect plans, develop communication campaigns to inform employees, assist in on-site and virtual enrollment sessions

  • Serve as the primary resource for employee questions regarding benefits

  • Resolve employee issues with benefits administrators and insurance providers

  • Assist and reply to day-to-day correspondence/guidance received from employees and program leadership to ensure policies, processes, and procedures are followed and adhered

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation, and maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records for those who have a justified need-to-know

  • Assist leadership with conducting talent reviews, succession planning, and retention assessments as needed

  • Advise, coach, teach and train management and employees of assigned programs on HR practices, policies, and procedures

  • Perform administrative and record keeping tasks related to staffing changes, which may include layoffs, resignations, terminations, and extended leaves of absence

  • Responsible for the full onboarding cycle for Candidates and New Hires, including processing I-9s, verifying documentation, completing and filing onboarding paperwork and tasks

  • Draft and submit offer letters and onboarding documents and provide new hires with manuals, guidelines, company email and passwords, as needed

  • Responsible for conducting weekly new hire orientation sessions

  • Partner with program leadership and recruiting department throughout the onboarding/offboarding processes, including offering guidance to complete the onboarding/offboarding process in the event of a new hire/termination/resignation to ensure all HR tasks are completed

  • Answer frequent questions from candidates and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc., and refer more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or the appropriate leadership

  • Complete termination / offboarding tasks in Company’s HRIS system

  • Assist the payroll department on such functions related to off-boarding and final pay calculation and distribution of final checks to terminated employe
