What you will do:

The HR Leader for Americas plays a pivotal role in driving the strategic and operational HR agenda to support Residential & Light Commercial’s ambitious growth and innovation goals in the region. This role is crucial in aligning HR strategies with business objectives, ensuring the effective utilization of resources, and fostering a high-performance culture.

The incumbent will partner with the R&LC Americas leader and other business leaders to enhance organizational effectiveness, build a strong company culture, manage talent, and ensure high levels of employee engagement and relations. This alignment is essential to support the company’s comprehensive portfolio of components, equipment, solutions, and services under the Hitachi and York brands.

Additionally, the HR Leader will be a key member of the Residential & Light Commercial leadership team, contributing to broader business perspectives and strategies beyond the remit of the partnering R&LC Americas leader. This role requires expertise in Centers of Excellence (COE) to prepare for the transition to a new parent company and ensure effective Day 1 and post-merger integration (PMI).

Key priorities for this role include delivering on financial commitments for FY25, selectively engaging with the Bosch team, and planning for Day 1 success. The HR Leader will also focus on people strategies that will impact the improvement of product cost positions, expand factory direct store deployments, and execute post-2025 product strategies to drive profitable growth and strengthen regional operating models.

How you will do it:

Strategic Business Partnering

  • Align HR strategies with business objectives in collaboration with the Americas leader and senior leadership.

  • Ensure cohesive HR operations with the VP HR.

  • Provide insights and strategies to the Residential & Light Commercial HR leadership team.

  • Adapt HR strategies to changing market conditions and contribute to the business strategy.

Team Management

  • Lead and manage a diverse HR team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

  • Mentor and develop team members, inspiring and guiding regional HR teams.

Change Management and Transition

  • Lead change management efforts during organizational transformations.

  • Support HRBP effectiveness with COE expertise and develop strategies for Day 1 readiness and post-merger integration (PMI).

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws Develop and implement risk management strategies, upholding high ethical standards.

HR Operations and Key COE Areas

  • Attract and retain top talent through effective staffing and talent development programs.

  • Implement performance management systems and use data analytics to improve employee performance.

  • Develop reward and recognition programs, drive diversity and inclusion initiatives, and enhance HR programs and practices.

  • Provide technical advice within the HR discipline and improve work relationships, morale, and productivity.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership with strong communication skills
