Position Overview
The Division of Family and Community Resources is seeking to hire a position to serve as a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Liaison/Policy Writer. This position conducts ongoing and in-depth reviews and analysis of proposed or current Federal statutes and Federal regulations and to assess program modifications required for implementation of the statute or regulation in administering the SNAP Program. This position assists in development of enhancements to the eligibility system to implement agency initiatives and program changes as a result of legislation, clarification and to correct eligibility system issues. The position also includes promoting a good working relationship with the Federal Food and Nutrition Services and responds promptly to requests for information.
