As a Deaconess Illinois Clinic CMA, you will play a critical role in our goal of providing high quality care to our patients in our community. 

Job Overview

• Assess patient symptoms and needs over the phone to determine the urgency of their condition.
• Providing medical advice based on clinical protocols and guidelines, helping patients decide whether to seek emergency care, an in-person visit, or manage symptoms at home. 
• Documenting patient interactions and maintaining accurate healthcare records.
• Educating patients on managing their health conditions at home and monitoring follow-ups.
• Coordinating with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and follow-up appointments. 
• Provide care utilizing established principles and ethical standards as well as policies and procedures established by Deaconess.
  
  What You Will Need
• Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program required.
• Family Medicine clinic experience preferred .
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Epic experience preferred but not required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Current certification/license from one of the below:

• Medical Assistant certification 
• CPR provider certification required.
