Spare Parts Sales Representative plays an active role in the success of our Aftermarket Business. This position works in a team to serve our customers with Spare Parts support. Though a considerable amount of time is spent on a phone or a computer, this is not a call center but rather a service and parts center. There are daily challenges to identify the customer’s needs and achieving them in a fast-paced environment. Proactive activity in creating solutions, solving problems and creating business is required. This opportunity is for a spirited customer service candidate with strong computer skills.
Responsibilities
Process customer project orders and quotations using SAP.
Answer customer calls and emails about machine parts and support questions.
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
Provide post order support.
Create proactive sales strategies.
Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
Responsible for spare parts pricing solutions.
Support spare parts needs during new machine installs.
Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules.
Support our Technical Service group with spare parts needs.
Spare parts research for internal and external customers.
Review parts info through BI, SAP and Data Analysis
4 times a year for one week at a time, responsible for our 24 hours emergency service.
Expectations
Bachelor degree preferred with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred or similar experience.
Strong technical skills and the ability to apply those in a customer-service environment.
Inside sales and/or customer service experience.
Ability to interact in a positive and professional manner by phone with a focus on customer service.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Work well under pressure.
Strong customer service and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong computer skills, including experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
A working knowledge of SAP
