About the role

Its proprietary technology, based on real-time video recognition, is unique in the world. We already count these traditional players and start-ups among our customers convinced by our solution: DocuSign, UberEats, Crédit Agricole, BPI, Stuart, Swile, Treezor, etc.</p><p>Our mission is to enable citizens to use their civil identity easily and securely in the digital world, in order to build the necessary trust between digital services and their users. We protect users against identity theft and service providers against fraud.</p><p>In 2022, Ubble was acquired by Checkout.com with the aim of combining our forces to build the future of identity together.</p><p><strong>Hybrid Working Model: </strong>All of our offices globally are onsite 3 times per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). We’ve worked towards enabling teams to work collaboratively in the same space, while also being able to partner with colleagues globally. During your days at the office, we offer amazing snacks, breakfast, and lunch options in all of our locations.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><u><strong>The role</strong></u></p><p>You will be joining the team at a pivotal time:</p><ul><li>Thanks to the support of the Checkout.com international group, Ubble now has the means to become a world leader in digital identity. Two major milestones have recently been achieved with the launch of two new products. However, the work to ensure the success and global roll-out of these two products has only just begun, there's still a long way to go! </li><li>The data team has recently moved to a modern data stack (dbt, Snowflake, Looker, Stitch, Monte Carlo, Airflow), and has equipped itself with tools that enable new types of analysis and monitoring, multiplying the opportunities for massive impact. </li></ul><p>In this context, the data team is at the very core of Ubble’s product development effort, and its role will be absolutely decisive in achieving our objectives!</p><p>In practical terms, your work will be divided between the following issues: </p><ul><li>A year ago, Ubble decided to organise its tech and product team around 'tribes', headed by the Data Analyst/Product Manager pair. This close collaboration will give you the opportunity to co-construct the product roadmap with an experienced Product Manager.</li><li>Take responsibility for monitor and drive the performance of an entire part of the product (a.k.a. "tribe"): defining key metrics, developing monitoring capabilities (dbt/Looker), tracking and alerting, data reliability. </li><li>Independently identify opportunities for improving the product and our key metrics.</li><li>Build and improve processes to maximise the impact of data within Ubble, and ultimately participate in the scale of this team.</li></ul><p><strong>Our proposal</strong> </p><ul><li>Develop the strategy for one of our tribes, in tandem with a product manager.</li><li>Genuine independence in the management of projects involving different disciplines (dev, data engineering, business intelligence, product), and total freedom to challenge and propose improvements to the existing system.</li><li>The opportunity to develop product-oriented data skills, working with extremely rich and diverse data.</li><li>You'll be joining a data team that's in full development</li><li>A strong, healthy corporate culture, based on caring and high standards, with a focus on impact and pragmatism</li><li>An attractive package to suit your profile </li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><u><strong>What we’re looking for </strong></u></p><ul><li>3+ years' experience in data analysis</li><li>Pragmatic and structured: you know how to solve a complex problem step by step, and draw actionable conclusions through clear and concise communication</li><li>Suitable for the Ubble culture (agility, entrepreneurial spirit)</li><li>Team player (questioning, humility, culture of challenge and feedback)</li><li>Creativity and proactivity: you know how to find simple and creative approaches to complex problems, and you proactively seek out new ways of exploiting data. </li><li>Curiosity and attention to detail: you like to explore and understand the trends and strange cases that catch your eye</li><li>Good knowledge of SQL, experience with "modern data stack" tools (dbt, Snowflake, etc...), an experience in python/R is a plus</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>Apply without meeting all requirements statement </strong></p><p>If you don't meet all the requirements but think you might still be right for the role, please apply anyway.
