Senior Mechanical Procurement Engineer (Hybrid)

About the role:

As a Senior Procurement Engineer, you will provide Engineering Solutions to obsolescence challenges associated with commercial nuclear power plant systems and components. 

You will report to the Manager, Procurement Engineering for BOP Mechanical & Chemical Process Engineering. You will work a hybrid scenario based in the Westinghouse Rock Hill, SC facility. No relocation will be provided. We can entertain candidates able to work in the US without sponsorship now and in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Create and submit engineering documentation like Item Equivalency Evaluations, Commercial Grade Dedication Packages, Material Master Classifications and Resolve Procurement Engineering Holds

• Collaborate with a multi-discipline team while driving to improve group capability on all Nuclear Power Plant Technology

• Contribute to multiple customer teams outside of immediate area

• Work within project constraints to meet project delivery deadlines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or established equivalency. 

• 5+ years of Nuclear Industry

• Procurement Engineering Program
