Student Worker Eligibility:
Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived.
If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 
Assist Financial Assistance Specialist.

  • Assist with financial aid projects as assigned.
  • Assist students with FAFSA completion.
  • Assist in helping students at the counter.
  • Assist in answering the phones.
  • Filing, general office help.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications:

    • Education
      • THIS IS A STUDENT JOB.
      • High school diploma or equivalent.
      • Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
      • Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above.
      • If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived.
      • If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.
    • Experience
      • Strong customer service skills required.
      • Good verbal and written communication skills required.
      • Must be detail oriented required.
      • Good organizational skills required.
      • Knowledge of computers helpful required.
    • Licenses and Certifications
      • COD Training
        • Compliance Training

      Working Conditions:

    • Computer, fax, multi-line phone, copier, and scanner.
    • Some lifting up to 30 lbs.
    • Hours may vary according to need.
    • High pressure at times.
    • This student position requires a background check.
