We do this efficiently and in compliance with all pertinent rules and regulations. The Manager, International Tax, will be responsible for U.S. international tax compliance, provision, planning. The role serves as the leader of the international tax compliance and provision team, including 2 US-based internal staff, and a team of external service providers. This role will be the key interface with the Vice President, Global Tax, as well as non- tax business leaders, regarding global international tax issues. This role is a key member of the finance leadership team responsible for contributing to the strategic vision while identifying, evaluating, and addressing critical business risks, risk drivers and the relevant business and governance processes. This role reports directly to the Director, International Tax and C&I.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- US compliance and provision efforts including:
- U.S. tax reporting for 175+ non-U.S. subsidiaries.
- Quarterly and annual accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) related to all U.S. international tax matters (GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, Foreign Tax Credits, etc.).
- Annual FIN48 analysis on international tax matters.
- Developing and implementing Pillar 2 reporting infrastructure and strategy.
- Evaluation and utilization of external resources.
- Assisting in implementation of global tax planning strategies including:
- Global holding jurisdiction evaluation and restructurings
- Global intercompany debt profile
- Cross-border transactional tax planning
- legal entity restructuring (“LER”) projects.
- Special projects including process development and systems implementations, automation of tax processes, coordination with business units, and various tax technical issues.
- Support, review, and oversight of the global tax audits.
- Participate in acquisition and disposition projects to determine potential tax exposures and structures for contemplated transactions.
- Monitor global income tax legislation and advise tax team as appropriate.
- Manage and develop direct report/s as well as assist in building skills in the tax team.
- Work with the Vice President, Global Tax, and the business to assure execution of international tax strategy.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree is required. Law or Accounting preferred
- Master’s Degree or certification (JD/CPA) preferred.
- 5+ years of corporate tax experience in the international tax area. Experience in a Big-4 firm and/or with a U.S.- based multinational strongly preferred.
- 1+ years of supervisory management experience.
- CorpTax software experience is preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Must have strong knowledge of U.S. international tax compliance and provision requirements.
- Exceptional business communication skills with ability to effectively relate tax issues to non-tax personnel.
- Track record of effectively managing a team, strong consensus builder and team player.
